Providing the care you deserve.
Our Services
Everyday Life Support
Everyday life support services are the home care duties that assist your loved ones with their day to day tasks.
Services include light housekeeping and laundry, home safety evaluations, simple meal preparation, pet care and dog walking, gardening services, and transportation for shopping, appointments and community events.
Beyond these activities, participants will have a friendly and familiar face and the companionship it brings.
Recreation and Leisure
Recreation and leisure play a vital role in enhancing quality of life. Our person-centered care plans are based on participant strengths and needs. Services can be one one one, group activities, or community engagement opportunities.
Leisure activities include expressive arts, music, cards and other games, creative writing, story telling, reminiscing, legacy writing, and cognitive activities.
Recreational activities include physical activity, walking to wellness, gardening (indoor and outdoor plants) picnics, bird watching, lawn games and more.
Community Connections include local tours, events, museum, library and gallery visits, shopping, continuing education, and referrals/accompaniment to local recreational programs.
Food Service
Our team employs excellent cooks and bakers! Home cooked meals offer significant health, nutritional, financial and lifestyle benefits. By controlling the ingredients and nutritional content we can meet the dietary needs of the participant, avoiding excessive salt, sugar, unhealthy fats and preservatives.
Home cooking also strengthens social connections through teamwork in meal preparation and creative experimentation. Our participants can be involved as much or as little they desire.
Caregiver Support
Caregiver services will address the challenges informal or formal caregivers experience. Often family members find caregiving both rewarding and challenging. INSPIRE relieves some of the day-to-day pressure.
INSPIRE offers respite care which includes: companionship, social interaction, leisure activities, preparing snacks and other related duties. We also support caregivers to access peer support groups to foster wellness and community connections.
FAQ’s
How does it work?
Connect with us by phone or email to set up a complementary in-home consultation with our care coordinator Colleen. Our comprehensive intake process will help determine your loved one’s needs and a person-centered care plan developed. A care provider ‘meet and greet’ visit will follow to ensure comfort is established. Our care provider will document daily activities and a 4 week evaluation will ensure that the participants’ needs are being met. Feedback will be collected on a regular basis and care plans can be adjusted at any time. Family will be given regular updates and are free to contact Colleen and/or the assigned care provider at any time.
Will my family member always have the same care provider?
We understand there can be challenges when there are inconsistencies with caregivers. INSPIRE will strive to maintain consistency, however, our team members have a variety of skills and expertise to share with our participants so you may see one or more of the team included in the care plan.
How do I know how much service my loved one needs?
This is where we can help, our intake process is thorough and allows us to determine needs and collaborate on a care plan.
